After going 3-3 this weekend and losing 7 points to the Ryans who have also won 3 of the last 4 motos by a wide margin over Chad Reed, is he in danger of losing his points lead at Red Bud or Millville?

Whether or not you are a wanker, here's a serious reply:

I don't think so. Thunder Valley has been one of Reed's worst venues. His past finishes were 3-7 in 2009 and 10-7 in 2010. By his own admission it's not one of his favourite tracks and he even said on Sat that he would be happy with a podium finish.

I reckon he'd be quite happy to walk away with a 3-3 and only lost 7 points.

It's becoming a pet hate of mine that people are starting topics with "joe blogs" as the subject. Put a brief description of your damn thread, not just "reed" or "villopoto" or "dungey".

that is all Smile

Since when did Reed become a Holy Cow? If we go by this board and all the fanboy thing , I think this question was pretty mellow. Why is aussies so offended? There has been so much crap coming from down under about certain US riders that all these responses seem a little hypocritical.

The serious answer is no one is safe with the points lead this year, so yes, he is in danger of losing the lead, but then again, so would RV or RD if they had the lead.

The sport is unpredictable. These guys are in danger of season ending injuries every race. So yes Reed is in danger of losing the points lead. He has been every race and will continue to be.

Like he said in a interview about Dungey, It's one thing to get close but a completely other thing to get past.

I think both Ryans will be taking the majority of the wins from here on out. Just MO

Absolutely. There is a lot of Aus fanboy wankering going on right now. Chad could lose that lead in one race. Villopoto was looking pretty strong to me compared to previous races. In the past RV seemed like a much faster riders than Reed. After injury and battling some other issues, he seems seems to have lost some of that, but in Co. it appears he got back what he has lost.
Who know maybe Chad will be looking for Villopoto like this.

there are 3 guys that are pretty evenly matched. RV seems to have the speed over the other two most weekends, RD the fitness and Chad keeps putting it together and has speed and fitness in the second moto (except Lakewood).

We've seen Reed put it in cruise control and get a relatively easy second or third several motos. RV same thing. I don't think it has anything to do with being able to stay in the hunt for the championship.

hard to believe just two short years ago, Reedy was everyones favorite guy to hate and throw under the bus. Oh how times change.
