One of the highlights of my younger years was seeing Bengt race at Oran Park with Roger Decoster, Joel Robert, Dave Bickers and a bunch of other 'Internationals'.

RIP, Bengt Aberg.

Bengt on the HE / SL Yamaha in 1977 - these pictures are from when he won a Moto at the Luxembourg GP that year.

RIP, Bengt. He gave DeCoster quite a few good runs. Hate seeing a legend pass. I'll watch On Any Sunday this week and think about his legacy

Anybody know of any GP TV broadcasts of races he did well in?

RIP Bengt. Deep feelings for a great OG of MX. You made a massive impression to this young teenage kid back in the day. Rail tracks in heaven rider. Godz Speed.

"Helsingland Hell Riders" as they were now nicknamed. "Helsingland" after their home county, "Hell" for their unforgiving pace.

Nice article in English about Aberg's 1970 500 championship. Some fantastic pictures too.

Saw on a Euro site it said he passed away with complications from Diabetes. It had badly effected his vision.
