I wonder if getting on the Star bikes will kind of breathe new life into Shane? He seemed like he has been "right there" at times the last few years but one thing or another has conspired against him. I like seeing these guys switching brands, it makes things more interesting.

Do hope this is just the change he needs. Would love to see him point out of the 250 SX class after two #1 plates.

Just too bad he isn't racing RBSR. It isn't like he went to a team that doesn't still make a 2 stroke!

It is possible, BUT he needs to practice starts all winter. It is his only weakness, otherwise he is 200% on point : great fitness with many passes late in motos, ability to pass and to be feared / race craft and agressive, stay on 2 wheels, great environment (team, bike, coach), great technique and throtle control (awesome at paris supercross in 2018 on the 450), and now he is some experience on the US tracks with ready to go settings.

And it must be his year because he will point out of the 250 class no matter what.

I don't know, it may be very tough to land a ride in the 450 class, i don't see where there could be openings.

Yamaha will have 2 openings for 2021. Yamaha will want to keep Ferrandis especially if he grabs them another 1 or 2 titles.
