Let's see some cool stuff! Post your boxes, tools and specially stuff. I will get pics up later

I work in the marine industry servicing super yachts (not as great as it sounds I mostly fix toilets...) and also work on my own bike and car as much as possible, I'm currently in the market for some new storage and maybe tools if anyone had any suggestions for something I might need but don't have...

I am getting myself a matrix m31 for my day to day stuff (I need to be able to carry my essentials down to the boats, but I also desperately need to upgrade my bench too storage, I was looking at the matrix m30 but may go down the snap on route... I know the snap on is good but how is the matrix gear?

The bigger Matrix one is made by Champion tools - very nice. I'm not sure about the small boxes.

I use one of these canvas tool rolls. http://www.ck-magma.com/products/tool-roll#.VUF3jfmqpBc

-Does not rattle round like a toolbox (everything is more snug)
-Its easier to access my tools at the track etc, don't have to dig thru a box & pull out a 6" high pile of tools to access that 1 thing at the bottom.
-If a friend wants to borrow a tool, they are all laid out for easy picking and you can see if something is missing.
-Its long enough to hold long tire levers.

This is my kinchrome box, it took a slide from one end of my ute tray to the other one day and now doesn't sit flat, was just a cheap one I bought to sit on my bench at work but it's getting a bit full now and to be totally honest it is utter crap, only good to sit at home on my bench in the shed for my at home tools, which is basically just the old stuff that I have since upgraded

This the bag that the m31 would replace its a blueprint bag that I have my main gear in, I can do most general stuff with this. If I need to get heavy duty grips or something I Just go get them. I only carry deep sockets for example, if I need shallow I will go get them

I have a 3-drawer plastic craftsman box that I use for taking to the track, it works great. Light and small enough that it's easy to pack in/out of the back of the truck. The Matrix box looks very similar, I'm sure you will like it. It fits everything I need to take with me short of my signet screwdriver set and torque wrenches, which have their own plastic cases anyways. The 3 drawers combined with the top tray give just the right amount of compartments that I never have to dig for tools. The only compromise is the drawer that I use for wrenches is too small to use an organizer, but no big deal.

Craigslist special. Bottom roll cab is about 15 years old with the 2 inch maple butcher block top. Upper hutch and side locker cabinet are about 9 years old. Had to send a wrecker to pick it up about 120 miles away and had a local furniture guy replane and clear the maple top. New price would be about $17,000.00 plus, got it for $3500.00 plus $350.00 towing and $300.00 to refinish the top. Gave it a major cleaning as it was a bit used. Cleaned up nice though! I have a matching blue bottom box at work that I got back around 1998 when the triple bank first came out. One big ass tool box.

That is awesome,

I'd love a set up like that from snap on, never had any Mac stuff but they don't seem to sell it in Australia. I heard it was you either liked Mac or snap on

I think that is probably worth more than some people's house!

Here's mine. My dad bought it when I was really little and passed it on to me when I bought my first house. A "redneck heirloom" if you will, haha. He filled it with tools over the year, so I'm pretty set up/lucky at this point. It's number 6 of 225 and it will be passed on to my son as well.
