I have an 06 KX250 and I'm going to ride it tomorrow. I just got a Pro Circuit Platnum 2 pipe and I'm going to test that compared to the stocker. It may be better for indoors and woods but we will see.

The stock pipe on my KX250 is getting a little beat. FMF or Pro Circuit? Too bad Williams doesn't make them anymore.
Its a 2 stroke dumbass...The only way you can get a weapon mx on a 2 stroke is if you take the bike to the custom chopper shop and have them weild it on...wich wouldnt be the best idea for preformance...

Rocket works really well on the KXF250 and the price is right...... Varner has dynoed all the pipes you guys mentioned and the Rocket out performed them. I am little biased of course but the new style made in the USA product is really good.

Thanks Don, but you know how the RMZ250 works...

Your pipe did wonders for my mid range, the bike is slow from the start. Prior I had a DrD on it...the difference is fine. It's a sponsored bike so I don't change anything unless it is by the provider, for his reasons.

We have spoke, I owned a dealer for a short while in OC. Hung your pipes in my window for a couple months.

Oh the love!

Sorry alph, I do have some old stampings for a KX250 that probably would work.... but just no time for a one off right now.

As far as a recomendation... I haven't dyno'ed a newer KX with some of the other guys pipes.... to be honest, browse Ebay and find your best deal... stock, or otherwise and you'll be fine.

It's not the manufacturer who has the best pipe... it's who got the luckiest in design, or who spent the most time developing something... it's a crap shoot either way.

i run an FMF factory fatty pipe with the shorty silencer on my 05 yz250 and i love it. the combo makes the bike pull harder through the low to mid range without loss on top. It really made the bike a bit easier to keep on power

I rode with the platnum 2 this weekend. It was pretty good on the AX track but not so good on the mx. It still felt a little to snappy on both.

Just get the sticker from the coolest pip builder and place it somewhere that makes it "look" like you are running aftermarket.

FMF can go to hell. I had a customer service nightmare with them. And this was back when they were selling loads of 2 stroke pipes. I'm sure the major loss of market share and earnings hasn't helped.
