I have been waiting for a follow up post from him. Man this kid has the worst luck, but I am glad he walked away from it and is okay. Scary out on the roads, every time I ride and get back safely I consider it a blessing.

I seen that on Instagram but didn't realize it was Will. Shitty deal but he makes it sounds like he's fine.

GEEEEEZE.......Wilbur can not catch a break on or off the track! As a side note, the main problem with cyclists and motorists is that people driving don't understand the laws that us cyclists are enabled to ride under by law. Here in NJ, cyclists fall under the same rules of the road (title 39) as cars but by the amount of honks and middle fingers we all get, its obvious most motorists haven't gotten that memo. Heal up FAST WH54! Ride SAFE

what does an s-works run? Hope he has insurance on that thing
Pretty sure he's sponsored in some form or fashion, so the bike was a freebie. Even so, sad to see it mangled.

I saw that on Instagram as well, and was waiting on some further news about the injuries. I just hope Will can come back in 2017 strong enough to get a good ride.

I am absolutely NOT that "guy" who takes up the lane or does 15 mph in a 35 pissing people off unnecessarily but it is important to know what your legally entitled to under the law in case things goes south and theres an accident, because some one is going to be put "at fault" on the accident report. Other than if you only take leisurly family bike rides around neighborhoods, side streets etc, if you put in 30-50 miles at time hammering down, people will honk and get pissy, trust me. Even if you try to stay on the shoulder, debris, holes, grates etc will push you into a lane peridoicaly. A little side fact which is crazy but a good FYI, a case in north NJ recently settled where a cyclist who was riding on the shoulder got struck and killed, and the court found him "at fault" because he was on the shoulder and not in the lane therefore his family wasn't able to pursue anything thereafter. I personally ride on the shoulder and not in the lane, cause i don't want to be "That guy" who pisses people off, but i just pray that i or anyone else doesn't get struck while on the shoulder in NJ!
