If any one remembers racing at the original track , it was a 15 foot wide path through the woods , on the side off the mountain , you could race all day in there and never get hot , I loved that place growing up .

OLD SCHOOL. No Pics. The old Hangtown track at Plymouth. We're talking SAND! You have to be pretty old to remember it.

Your right on Fred, but didn't miss the little road leading to the track (think the semi's could make it).

I'm pretty sure you all know my favorite…

Then Hollister this was summer at the GP (someone else's shot), but winter was ridiculous.

Mammoth:

Honey Lake

From the old GP days, I always loved seeing race stuff from Sittendorf, but I guess the still run the track.

Not the best shot of the track, but 1978 Racing World 125/250 National.

I was able to ride the track later in the week after the National........good times.

That was a great read, thanks for posting. Maybe its because I'm originally from the East Coast but I love mountains and giant hill climbs. I about shat myself the first time I went up Horspower Hill at Dilla on my 125, same with the Cavity. Those are two obstacles that I can picture vividly in my mind like it was yesterday.

Thanks again for posting that I really enjoyed it!

That's from the gp earlier this year, right?

If you're a two smoke fan, it's worth watching the EMX125 race from there; beautiful scenery, no commentary, just a bunch af bees buzzing.

Just to add to my post how cool would it be to sit outside the pub watching 40, 500 two strokes go past full throttle would be awsome
