What can I say, Manny, good moto looks good.

For Fred/Boss

Herein lies the California dilemma: November to March, it looks like this, then it's baked and brown adobe until the fall rains. Outdoor MX starts in late May. One reason the Trans Ama races were usually really nice (even if the weather was problematic elsewhere).

It looks like you have found some nice spots !!!!! I had never seen Namur's castle walls!

I had to think about it really much to find something for you ... so perhaps as an alternative if you visit France, it is the Kenny Festival, a place to go & possibly race in the notoriety/industry/press category, maybe a few journalists here would like to try it. We do not see half of the track on the picture, half is in the forest, but there are quite some elevation changes and the dirt is awesome.

Road Atlanta? Please somebody....I I wish I had taken pictures of the bottom and top side of that track in 74 and 75. Watching DeCoster, Smith on the 522, and the rest of those bad mamma jammas ride that track was like heaven on earth!

This was built by the guys from Terraforma MX www.terraformamx.com just on the border of Wales.......a very much 'what could have been'. This was going to be a race track for a newly formed association here in the UK that never got going due to politics and bull sh1t. Nothing really happens to it now, but it really could have been one of the great tracks in the UK.....and all natural!!

I was fairly certain that heaven didn't exist until I saw these pictures. Holy crap that place is incredible! It's a damn shame it was never used.

Cool thread. I always enjoy photos of sweet MX tracks, whether they're natural terrain or not. It is true that New Zealand is home to some great tracks, but I would love to do some overseas riding trips one day. Many of the GP and AMA national tracks I have seen on T.V look so good.

For me New Zealand is the clear winner. All of those tracks look amazing.

How is the public reaction to MX there? Any complaints?

New Zealand has quite a small population (4.5 million), so there is a lot of open space. Most tracks are located away from urban areas on farmland, where few people live. New Zealander's tend to be fairly laid back, so you don't hear of too many issues. Society seems to be becoming more "green" oriented as time goes by, which could prove problematic in the future.

There are a lot of great tracks down here, but it can still be difficult to find places to practice - many only open for race meetings. The sport is relatively small down here, which can be good and bad.

I might post some more pictures tomorrow.

Seriously this is impossible to beat. Hands down the coolest track I've ever seen!
That is a cool track, but would you hit those jumps? Rolling them might not be so fun.

Hahha no way in hell that I would make a single jump on that track. I would rather jump off a bridge than hitting one of those jumps.
It wouldn't be anything near that spectacular that it is right now w/o those jumps though.

This track is a off road riding park now. Trail loops in the woods and open field also. More lanes added on the up and down hills, Mx jumps leveled. Was a Mx track 1969-2013. Pics r from 4-24-21, in the rain and wind. There is a sand vein, some sand was added to the track. Check out the wood chip piles, just like the 90,s.
