Pala. No debate. And I ride Pala a lot. There national prep is an absolute joke.

I’ll be honest, as a spectator washougal and budds seemed worse to me

There's a recency bias here, I can't even recall most of the prep this season at this point.

Just seemed narrow most places and lack of line development.

It’s always going to be Pala out of this current batch of tracks. But that being said, it doesn’t mean Pala is a horrible track. It’s an okay track that really depends on how it’s prepped.

It’s for sure not better than GH, but with the shit between them and MX sports, Pala is the only legit option for a SoCal national.

If its just one round Pala isn’t too bad. But I think MXSports should think long and hard about the way they structure the schedule next year. If they keep forcing these teams to go from west coast to east coast back west coast and then back to the east coast before returning for the final west coast round. A lot more teams will be looking at just flying bikes to WSX instead

From listening to the riders. They seem to talk most negatively about washougal.

Results pretty overwhelming with Pala hated most by almost 80% of you. And they went there twice . So twice as much to hate

Can we just celebrate the racing for what it was this year.

EPIC.

Who gives a **** what the worst track was.

You’re right Magoo. The series could never be better. We want to watch them race every year for the next 100 years the same 12 tracks they’ve been racing more or less for the last 50 years. But they can’t change up the status quo because old heads will be typing up threats from the nursing home.

Pala is by far the worst. It's up there with the worst manmade tracks we've seen in the GPs the last decade.

Count me as someone who would.

I grew up in so cal. Hard pack, ruts with blue groove. Slick, choppy and overwatered.

I hated Southwick.

Now, visually there is no comparison. Southwick is beautiful. In the trees, loam dirt.

But due to where I grew up and raced my whole life, I hated Southwick and would much rather have a hard pack, shit track like Pala on the schedule.

Funny that the winner (or loser I guess) of this poll got two rounds. Come on DC, do better.

What? Budds is one of the best spectator tracks on the circuit

The final round should really be a prime track with tons of passing options. Aesthetically pleasing too.

Who gives a ****? WE do, or at the very least, WE SHOULD. Pala is awful, empirically. There's virtually no place to pass without forcing the issue, and aesthetically, it's just plain godawful. Not one damn tree and no grass whatsoever, because it's so damn hot there nothing will grow except scrub-brush. In fact, it's so damn hot there they had to shorten the races. The place looks like the surface of the moon, and unless you're John Glenn, that "look" has very little appeal.

The racers deserve better than to have to compete on a venue so insufferably inhospitable they have to do their first moto interviews from BEHIND the podium in order to hide from the elements. Not that there were many spectators to watch those interviews, because, despite the fact that the championship was closer that it's been in recent memory and this race was the finale, the crowd was sparse at best. Let's face it, if Pala weren't owned by Fox, it would be off the schedule already, but no - TWO races there. Such total, complete, bullshit. Oh, and one more thing -

get off my lawn.

We definitely don’t need 2 Pala’s
Having the Finale on the worst track of the year (for a second time) is just ridiculous..

An unbelievable majority hated Pala the most this summer.

I really want to know who the one guy was that voted for Millville

What’s crazy about Pala is when it’s not prepped for a national the track is actually pretty dam good. But when the National comes around the guys in the dozers just squirrel out

Pala may not be the prettiest track on the circuit.....but it sure looked pretty challenging to me yesterday. Isn't this what racing is all about...the challenge.

Perfect clone tracks.....you might as well be watching SX.

Agreed. No need for a poll to figure this out.

I wish MX still looked like this once in a while:

From a viewing on TV standpoint, I don't hate Pala as much as most. I thought round 1 was pretty good but yesterday looked terrible.

I did not like all of the split turns at Budds this year.

Unadilla looked sketchy as hell.

Thunder Valley is a boring track to watch IMO.

I usually don't like Mt Morris but it was awesome this year. Great racing there.

I know Red Bud is held in high regard by most and my memories of watching the races in the 90s/2000s are pretty great but it's just felt a little lackluster the past few years.

Millville and Ironman are the two best IMO. Strictly from an entertainment on TV viewpoint. I love Southwick as well.

Oh I think it would be great if there was one grass track prep. Could still have jumps but probably not “huge” ones. The track would develop super rough but in sort of an unfamiliar way

As a spectator, I think it just gets a little boring when the riders are forced into single file at various points on the racetrack. And the other sections of the track that weren’t narrow single file lines were super hard pack with no ruts or berm whatsoever. I understand the race is important to people from the area, but as a spectator watching online this round was one of the lesser quality
