Hit up home depot and pick out your desired piece of PVC piping...1'' , 2'' , white , black...what ever you like.
Get 2 end caps, you'll need the PVC glue, 2 threaded barbes, a matching tap, thread tape and enough hose to hook it all together.
Tip...don't run the tap too deep...which can make the fit on the looser side, you want the barb to thread in tight.
Cut the pipe to length, drill and tap the caps (clean caps of any debris) install barbs, glue caps on, mount the bottle and run the hose.
So, off the radiator overflow spicket hook that to the bottom of the overflow bottle, then the top just vents to air.
Because I had the overflow on trail bikes and some times they end upside down, I ran the vent hose down then I looped it back up a foot or two and back down again, keeps from draining the bottle.
I also filled it 25%
Hope that helps
I did not like the gas leaking from a opened red bull cans Supermoto racers used to catch the fuel.
Leaking fuel + crash sparks meant a containment tank was needed. In doing so I also made radiator overflow and crank case oil catch tanks to meet the tech requirements that the AMA approved because our tanks were the closest to the cc amount in the AMA rule book.
Because We already made the coolant catch tank for Supermoto we also sold them for MX.
Manufacturing can be a PITA!!!
AMA Pro Flat Track asked us to make an even larger cc tank for the meet the AMA Pro Flat Track rules as the official AMA Pro Flat Track Coolant Tank. After a last minurte manufacturing issue with our tank manufacturer not making our larger tank design I spent the week from the Daytona SX to the Flat Track race hand moulding tanks for the AMA tech trailer and teams in the infield pits. After some time the hand mixed material would start getting brittle and cracking. With the loss of our tank manufacturer I tried a couple different shaped tanks but have not found another that I liked.
The small Titanium ones Pro Circuit started making are good idea.
I guess the good news is Motion Pro liked my idea so much they now make a 275cc plastic coolant tank for $22 that you can get direct or from your local dealer.

Nihilo makes a really trick CF catch tank.
I can't believe they aren't more popular. Bikes do lose coolant.
