My Granddad met them. He actually worked at a bank. He was out front sweeping the steps and they asked him for directions. Don't recall what for. Seemed like it was for breakfast or something.

I understand. I think the law stood there and shot that car for about 30 minutes after it stopped.

They used to tow it around with a tent and show that death movie. My uncle and I saw it in a kmart parking lot in 69. Just like an old time freak show.

Watched them film a lot of that movie around here when I was a little kid. They did it all over North Texas. Even used a friend of my mom's family to play Bonnie's mother.

We watched them film a part of that scene of them shooting their way out of the motel (at night) where the car rolls over. They must've re-shot it about 20 times. Drives in, rolls the car over while a bunch of stage hands fired blank guns into the air. Cut. Roll the car back upright and out. Repeat. Over and over. Over at old Vickery Park. Never saw Warren or Faye.
