Well it's been a few weeks since another epic Howlin at the Moon.

The recent Moto Rain Gods made the conditions perfect.

This year we were in Payson and camped as usual with the traditional fire for good story telling mixed with lies.... Hehehe

We savored prime rib at the banquet and two breakfasts at the Elks Lodge.
A lunch and event shirt are also included.
Really good food and a shout out to the Arizona Trail Riders who do an excellent job putting on this event.

As usual all proceeds from this event will be donated to the Arizona Off Highway Vehicle Coalition to support their efforts in maintaining and developing OHV recreation in Arizona.

Next year it's in Prescott, mark your calendars you do not want to miss it if you are close and own a Dual Sport. Smile

Hope you enjoyed the pics, see you next year.

I agree with your first sentence and yes the Sonoran Desert is a sharp contrast to the forest just over an hour away.
It's very unforgiving and EVERY plant, bush and tree has a thorn or needle. The jumping cactus are my favorite. Woohoo

But there is a certain beauty to the Dez that has a charm of its own and is great for riding and exploring.

Just don't tell anyone as we have enough people already. It really is just gun toting rednecks, tumbleweeds and rattlesnakes! Grinning
