Just saw this tonight when I got home. Sad. As a fan of their music and a (fixed-wing) pilot it hits close to home for me.

If there is a bright side, it's that when musicians pass away like this (or for any reason), at least the world still has their music.

RIP Gentry. Just heard he passed in transit to the hospital from a helicopter crash. So many musician's gone this year it seems.
