Bet you Leno bought it.

Its worth every penny from an investment standpoint. Serious piece of American car pop culture. I cant think of any other car except the General Lee that stands out in TV history than the Batmobile.

I would say the Batmobile is tops on the list. That's one bad ass machine! What are some other notables? Racer92 started it off.

VM, you are pulling movie cars into the list, thats different. I was meaning TV history only. Starsky & Hutch are definitely on there.

If you are referring to the movies, you are certainly right there is a much bigger list of cool cars.

Cool video. The original General had a 383? I always thought it was a 440. That is the exact engine & carb as my first stock car! There aint no Chevy on the dirt track anywhere that sounds as sweet as a HP383 with 7-grand on the tach.

Did you notice any difference running the fuel cooler? I thought about one on my nova but never pulled the trigger.

I cant say I noticed a difference because we put that Cool Can on it from the beginning, so I had no experience without it. But its mega hot in summer down here, and you cant beat an ice cold fuel charge. They arent expensive really, just a little more in plumbing.

Mr Bean's Mini

And of course, Mr Bean's arch nemesis, the blue Reliant Robin

After the auction last year, Bubba hired my Brother-in-law's company (dvap.com) to finish the restoration.

That car has been at his shop since then, getting a full authentic restoration. Since Bubba travels so much, we have been sending videos to Bubba of the progress and effort restoring it to original Bo and Luke condition.

He has been great to work with, it has been a long process to do it right but you could not ask for someone better to work with than him. Class act all the way.

Different.

383 is a big block, 360 a small block. The 383 is a short stroke, big bore engine that likes the rpms.

As far as movie cars go, nothing but NOTHING does it for me like this one. The in car scenes when James Taylor was rowing through the gears of that Rock Crusher behind the dual four big block were epic and real. It was like being there.
