The Japanese Nationals was & still is a test bed for all the Japanese factories, its not uncommon that the mags to show pictures and title them next year models which is true sometimes and not so true in others.

That's 94-98 shape KX plastic. More than likely first used on a Japanese factory SR250 in '93 Wink

Jan De Groot's team experimented with lay down shocks in GP's, but if i remember correctly it was more recently, early 00's.

Pretty sure they tried both leaf springs and traditional coil over shocks in this location - i want to say Tanel Leok and Mickael Maschio (sp) experimented with these chasis' but if i'm being honest i can't remember.

Cool bikes, wonder where they are now.
