I'm reviving this thread because Photobucket bombed it out. I bought this 1993 RM125 in late 2015 for $750. It ran, but not very well. Also someone looped it out and broke the rear fender. It looked pretty good for the age though so I bought it. Here are the first pics from 2015:
I rode it once, then parked it in the garage for about a year and did nothing with it. In late 2016, I rolled it out to take a video of how it looked:

It was in fall of 2016 when I fixed the rear fender, installed a new UNI filter, did a compression test showing 160 psi, fixed the fork guards and the seat cover, installed the replica "125" decals, etc... The bike ran better, but the clutch was wonky as hell. You had to rev the hell out of it and slam it into 1st gear in order to take off, otherwise it would die. So I decided to not ride it again until I figured out the clutch.
Here are a couple "after" pics from a quickie-clean job. I spent maybe 3 days going over it
Fast forward to this weekend and I finally took the clutch cover off to see what was up. The clutch plates were basically all stuck together and needed pried apart. After that, and an hour of riding it around, it seemed to work much better. The wife was even able to ride it around.

It took a couple years, but I think it is finally a nice bike now that I can just hop on and go ride. And it moves pretty good when it gets up on the pipe. A buddy was chasing me around on the YZ250F and that RM was keeping up (albeit with a lot more work).

Up and running now, very fun bike! Not the greatest forks, but really fun to ride. My laps are about 6 seconds off of what I do on my 250F on a roughly two minute track.
93 rm125 i put 95 twin chamber forks on it it was a great bike
