Ok thanks. Yea i had seen the PC pipe deal also. Would much rather have the works pipe or a DG but we'll see. How well does the aftermarket seat cover match color to the original in person? Looks pretty good in the pics. I may hit you up in the future for some tips or hints if thats ok. Thanks in advance!

Ask away. For the price I think those seat covers from Thailand are great. The material and lettering is spot on.
I actually got the kid out to the track today on it. He’s a total beginner but he battled all day with a kid on a new KX 85. I told him no new bike until he can use his brakes correctly and keep it on the pipe. I figure no point in spending the money until he can ride the 87 to its potential.

Nice pics man. I love seeing the two strokes and the YZ definitely holds special place in my heart. My friend had an 84 when i was growing up and was the first real race bike i ever rode. I got a 1990 as my first race bike. The TM is sweet too! I really havent raced or ridden for yrs to be honest with you but I still like piddling in the building with the bikes and reminiscing of my younger yrs. I have a son also but he has absolutely no interest in riding right now. Hoping that may change in the future. Thanks again for your help.

My brother had an 84 once so glad i was into cr's by the time I was ready for 80's in 87 it was one of the best. I rode a 83 yz once and it was a dog all my friends had kawie's and i hated them i wanted to be like RJ.
