I put a PSI exhaust on my KX this weekend.I bought it as a rusted pitted mess. I could easily spend 8 hours more in making it nicer. But i figure if take a rock smash in the header pipe at Unadilla i won't feel as bad
I still would like a silencer , In time ill get something.
Kawasaki had the worst exhaust flange seal setups of any bike. I seal it with hi temp silicone and take full care each time i install the pipe.
I remember a lot of kx125s with leaky exhaust back in the day
I hope this pipe feels better than stock.
Same for the new shock. The bike sits so much taller now with the correct spring. If a 4.8 kg spring is right for me and 2 big shock companies says it is, then im used to riding with a spring rate for a skateboard. Because it sits so much taller
This bike is the only bike ever i like gold rims better than black

That bike must have gold rims.
I think im one of few who like that rear fender, going to put a M Robert fender on my -79 Rocket and se how it looks..
The Shop
I didn't. Its so easy. I think i did everything right. Has spark. Yet no start. Im so embarassed. I know its something im doing wrong. No one has pvl problems but me. I timed it spot on.1.2 before tdc isnt that hard ; Then twisted the stator around and tried just to start it. Nothing. I dont know what else to do other than run the stock ignition for now
Had I realized tbe conventional Marzocchis were good forks i might have used them
Its just as well. I was able to find a set if billet Applied triples to work with the Showas
I couldnt believe how many people ask me about my Fox Forxs from the sticker
I quite like the rear number plate on the fender look - of course, it's correct fitment for a few models of KX, but, when I did a 'Long shock lay down' decades ago on one of my bikes, it was the best way to have number panels. Well after, I finally got an aftermarket rear fender / number plate unit - forget the brand, but it was the type that PC ran on some Huskies.
This is Not 'Hating' : - I just don't get why so many people put on Fox Factory Forx stickers on other forks. Put the brands stickers that they are, on, not something they are definitely not. It just spoils so many great, beautifully done bikes, doing such a thing - 'wanna being', as a mate of mine rather viciously describes it as. Hell, those forks are far better than the original 44s ( as they bloody well should be, being several generations in suspension tech on - I Do own a set of 44s) Yes, the forks are Conventionals, and silver, but they are not Fox Factory Forx . It goes for any 'other product stickering' of components. Label them for what they really are, I say.
