I wanted something different so I went with this, way too much time and money in this tank and I'm almost afraid to ride it now. I have another tank I think I might better get ready for Diamond Dons. Just a couple loose ends on this one and my Maicos, The RMs are ready to go, should be a blast, looking forward to showing up in style for my first race in 30 years.
I hate to say it, but please don't get that marshmellow dirty!

It won't bubble like plastic.,
The aluminum swing arm makes the bike
You have a collection of sweet bikes YZ Weldon
Let me know how close you are to Haydenbend off Glade and we can do some bench racing sometime before.
That bike is SWEET.
Last Husky I owned was a 1977 125 with the yellow tank; it was a great bike for its time! THX
Pit Row
I have a '80 Montesa VF 414 that I bought new in the box in March of '81. I raced against a few 390 Husky's back in the day and I can assure you that none of 'em looked like that.

It lives! First ride today, might not be a 490 Maico but it's got all the balls I need or can use. Can't wait to get it a little dirty with my spare tank.
