i just aquired this cr500 from my buddy i told him i wanted to buy it, he said "just take it and ride it" claims he has the other factory racing cover for the clutch too,
he wants 1500 for it, bit i figured if i liked it id hit him at a grand, pics are from today not sure whats wrong with the date on my camera

$1500 is a steal. I bought one a few months ago, same year ('97, I'm assuming) and similar condition for $1500... Still had the stock grips, and stock unbent steel bars. Hell of a deal. I almost felt guilty.

You should probably wait until a roached out one comes along at a cheaper deal so you can spend three times as much to restore it.....lol

Dude... buy it, advertise it in The Netherlands for around 4000 euro's and people will still think they bought a cheap cr500 over here!

Sweet ride right there, it'll give you years and years of trouble free pleasure, guaranteed. I owned a "94" (CR 500) back in the day and in the seven years I rode it, not one problem, nada.

Thats a $2500 bike if it was here in SoCal, roached out CR500's sell in the $1500 range. Snap that thing up and enjoy it!

Damn those are some nice looking RM's -- the 93-95 RM's take a lot of heat for the wide feel at the tank but for my money, nothing beats these, especially the 125.

I'm working on a project RM right now, have a bunch of stuff coming on order. OEM seat cover from the UK, graphics I found NOS on eBay ect ect. New baby at the house so hoping to dig into it this spring. Will surely post a build thread.

yup i bought theese just because, i have a 95 "LUSK" 24 250 build comming soon, i got works forks, works pipe, and silencer for it and the correct technosel grafix, just need to collect a few more goodies
