As title states for 96-01 YZ's ? I can get a tank, but no luck with anything else. Can find for 02 to current, but nothing for the older bikes. Would like a full kit, wanting to do a retro 97 125 in old school yellow. Thanks for looking, appreciate any input guys.
Cheers!

Just keep watching Ebay as the yellow plastic shows up more than you would think. You can even snag a set of One industries Hurricane graphics but they go for big bucks.

That's exactly what I want to build, already found the bike to do it. That machine is perfect, well done Sir!

Thanks for the heads up! Those look great, but mainly the shrouds and tank would probably be what I would utilize. I really like the clean look of the solid backgrounds like you used. I've had this build on my brain for quite some time, and I've always wanted a 96-01 YZ 125 because the few I've ridden have been incredible bikes. I'm a Suzuki guy at heart, but those little Yamaha's rip. Plus, when I was a kid, all the YZ's we had were yellow, and I guess I'm just being nostalgic. Love your bike!

Thank you for the tips, I have a YZ 97 Hurricane and I would like to change the plastics.
I tried to find it on e-bay but whit no result.
I wonder if you can check on bill if you can find the name of the compagny who sold it ?

I see, it's like a quest :-D; I will check ebay from time to time.
Regarding the gas tank, there is an American company called Clarke Racing which only produces these parts; have you ever heard of it ? If so, what do you think ?

Clark make a good product and you can get the color you need. They've been around forever and I recall seeing their ads in the early eighties in MXA and Dirt Bike mags. Well regarded product and company. I'm upgrading my YZ426 to '03-'05 body style and will be using a black tank with my yellow graphics and plastic. Montrez nous vos photos une fois faite svp !

What year is your bike? The front brake line is the original path?
On mine, the brake line goes at the bottom of the fork and I would like to do like yours. Are the original hoses or aviation hoses?
Could you send me pictures.

Thanks.

There is a set of ACERBIS hanging on the wall here. A little dusty from being on the wall for 20+ years...

Salut, to answer your question about front brake hose routing you'll need to swap in newer style forks. I believe Honda had a patent on CR routing till the mid 00's I pick'ed up a pair of later model year Kayaba SSS with clamps off a heavily sprung 250F. Otherwise you are obliged to rung the longer oem under the axle hose. There may be workarounds but it'll look like poo..

My bike is a 01 but I have parts from lots of years on it, the forks are from a 2004 YZ250F and it has the shorter steel braided hose and lightspeed carbon fiber fork guards.

I’m aware this is quite an old post but on the off chance, you wouldn’t happen a spare yellow rear fender for a 96-01 yz would you? I’ve looked high and low and all throughout eBay for weeks with no luck
