Where do you buy your TI bolts?
Some of them I got from a good friend and they were actual team bolts like the linkage and axles. I find a lot of it from different vendors. I get a lot of it overseas. They have different sizes and one off parts like clevis's and brake pivot bolts. I refuse to pay met tec or race tech titanium $3,000 for a bolt kit. I usually can get ever 6-10mm bolts and nuts for about 450.00. The axles and Swingarm just have to pay the piper lol.

Wow, that's not too bad. Maybe sometime next year when I'm ready to get some TI, I'd love to get the contact to some of those venders you use, I can't do $3K for bolts.

I'm thinking about getting a CR125 and doing a match with my 2002 CR250.

Jared grab you an 02 cr 125 if you get one. You can do different cylinder combinations like the old Hpp mods and it's the only one to safely make a 144 out of with out making it a time bomb. It will adapt the 00 intake which is 10mm bigger than the others. They whe to new cases in 03.

Small update not much. Added a factory PC billet brake caliper rear hanger. I had to change over to the new caliper which is way lighter and smaller. I know it's not period correct but I think it's badass!

Once the yz is done, I am going to go after the restore on the kx. I've put quite abit of time on it and enjoyed every minute of the bike. It's comming close to put that thing together as new again!

Well the time has came. I'm retiring this old girl. I'm sure it's been through the ringer more than a time or two. Took it out last weekend to ride it and I just felt it was time after the brake pads fell out of the front. Yes probably my fault as I didn't ride it for about 6-7 months. I went ahead and put the khi wheels and front brake on it. I decided not to let Eli use it J/K. I found a really clean 13 ktm 150 with 12.3 hours on it. I sure hate those cheap ads bolts ktm use. Well the kx will sit in the corner till it's time for a full restore. It was very enjoyable to ride, but I feel it has reached it shelf life before disaster strikes. Well here she is with her new shoes.

Awesome bike, love it.
Would be a shame to see it parted out.
I've never heard of brake pads falling off, while you were riding it?

Probably my fault I may have been measuring the pins for ti. But there is just some other stuff going on with it. It's just time to retire. Nah I won't part this one or sell it.

Went ahead and added the khi clutch case and factory carb. I also added the set of NOS pc ti pegs. I'll eventually take the bike all the way apart and powder coat the frame along with a total cleaning of parts. I just don't have the drive to mess with it any time soon. Maybe in a few years I'll make a project out of it.

Have you put it on a scale? Always curious what those old 125s weigh.

Looks great though.

Was able to get in the garage and give it a little tlc today. Installed the 03 shrouds and front plate. I'm waiting on rear side panels and then I'll add the graphics. I also put in the ti axles, pivot and linkage so she's 100% ti now!

It is complete for now. I will take it all the way apart again later on in life and re powder the frame. As for now I'm happy with the way it sits.

I have the original pc seat covers. Also if it was a mike brown bike I would have butnit was not a mike brown bike. The bike started out as sorby's was then passed down to a team green rider, and just so happen a buddy had some origibal back grounds.
