08 CRF250 shock on 07 CR125/250?

Got a good deal on a 08 CRF250 shock that has a DLC coated shaft and want to get it valved and sprung for my 07 CR125. Does anyone know off-hand if the shock body on the 08 CRF is the same dimensionaly as the CR125/250? Also from eyebolt to eyebolt if they are the same length on the entire shock? Worried about the body hitting the frame or plastic. If the clevis is a few mm's longer or shorter it's not a big deal they can shorten/lengthen it at Factory Connection.

Yes it will work. This is an 08 crf 250 kit Shock on my cr250. I can't remember exactly but I think the crf is 1mm shorter or longer eye to eye.

Does it ever hit the frame or pipe? Factory Connection is telling me a stock 08 CRF shock body won't fit. They are telling me it will hit the plastic/airbox or hit the pipe and frame. Just mocking it up to my 07 CR125 shock body it looks similar except the compression adjuster is angled up.

No rub on frame or pipe in my case. Bolted on perfectly.

Have any close ups of it? Guess I'm just take the shock off the bike and do a mock up with the 08. Bad thing is I took it apart already lol

I have some on my laptop. But I moved and haven't unpacked it Yet.. I'll see if I can dig it out this weekend.

Here's the 08 shock body on my 125. Frame, pipe, airbox all have good clearance. But not even close when it comes to the plastic. May have to do some trimming or get a CR body.
