2019 yz250f wont start battery dead ?

so yesterday i was riding and stalled going into a corner went to push electric start it tried to start for a whole 2 seconds then it faded and then nothing was there when i pressed the button anybody else had this issue before ?

OEM batteries are now very good. Have it load tested and if bad replace it with a new LI battery. The internal plates can break loose and cause a short and thus a dead battery under load.

Known problem on the Yamaha's.

Get the WPS battery and never look back lol

Order the GYTR Anti Gravity battery. A little more then the WPS but it is lighter and also way more Cold Cranking Amps. Plus if Yamaha has it in their catalog it has to be a really good product. I love mine.

problem sorted battery drained itself somehow down got a new aftermarket one for £85 Instead of the OEM yamaha one for $300 aftermarket one is better IMO has a little test button that tells you how much charge is left in it

That is a good battery and it should last for a few years.

We have had zero issues with our stock Yamaha battery, but to be safe, I ordered the Anti Gravity P/N AG-801

Cost a little more than the Shorai LFX14L2BS12 but has more CCA and they support Star Yamaha.
