Anyone done the Idle Screw Mod on a KTM 300 TPI?

I got a new Husky 300i last week and did the screw mod before I even rode it. I didn't adjust it any different than it came, but just want the option if I need to.

If you've done it, how did your bike run before hand?

if you haven't done it, are you thinking about it or does your bike run great?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch this video.

I haven´t done it - but would really like a higher idel in technical terrain...

I dread working on the TPI system....

After about 10h I installed the idle adjust screw on my 2020 300xc. Have put about 50h on it since and it defiantly is nice to raise the idle a bit when doing technical stuff. Also it improved the throttle response after I adjusted the air screw almost all the way in and raised the idle to compensate. If you like playing with your power valve it is a must because my bikes idle likes to change when I adjust the the power valve.

I would say do it so you can adjust if needed. It’s very simple. But absolutely do not try to get the set screw out without using a lot of heat.
