Has anyone had issues with the mounting holes not lining up?they fit like crap.I contacted the company waiting on a response/solution.If I need to drill out the holes any specific bit or method I should use not to splinter the material.?

Looks like you have the older, wider style of CR/CRF brake line mount. The newer ones are a bit lighter and should provide the fitment you need. Wouldn't drill it myself, worth the upgrade to new style (2004+?)...

PS: Brake line goes inboard, not mtb style outside.

If I may ask. Is your bike a CR and if so what year is it? I tried checking the fit of my sons 04 CR 125 front brake line clamp on my 01 CR 250. Although the guards fit the clamp didn't interchange between guards. Perhaps a different year clamp would keep you from having to drill your guards.

Thanks for the replies,my bike is a 2001 cr250r..on the package it states fits 98-18 cr/crf 125,250,450..as well as Ktm with inverted forks.I contacted them and sent pics today. On their site they offer replacements for unused defective parts so we’ll see if they’ll swap them.

Chance1218 would you mind giving a measurement when you have the time of the center on center of the 04 cr125 mount?im going to just buy a new mount that fits rather than try and overly modify the carbon.thanks for your input..

I spoke to them at lightspeed today and this is the only mount option he has and he told me how I can align the one guard better.

Wow, those fit like sh**! This reminds me of all the chinese fairing kit posts back in my street bike days. At least the chinese eventually got better.

I would be pissed if I spent that kind of money and it fit that terrible.

Agreed.I was told the fitment on the bottom can be adjusted by reinstalling the lower bolts in a different sequence.Im going to give that a shot.
