I've never had a great experience with buying white boots in the past...It seems like within a year they go to turning yellow no matter how diligent I am with cleaning them.
I bought a set of Fly Sector's two Christmas' ago and figured I would try to combat the inevitable color change. I had a can of Krylon clear, UV protection spray paint that I use to put on grips and decided to spray them with it. I did about 6 coats then after every 3 or 4 rides I use soft scrub and a brush to keep them clean.
I figured I would post a long term review to show you guys how the boots held up. This is what they look like about a year and half later with about 25 rides on them. I wish I had a picture when I bought them new to act as a control, but I can attest to the color change is almost unnoticeable. As for the quality of the boots themselves, for $180 they are quite good!
Hope this helps anyone out. Cheers
