KTM 85: which generation is better?

2004-2011

2012-2017

2018-current.

We own a current gen ktm85, but everything we don’t like about it we get told to convert to “the older style” ktm 85: Forks, front brake.



I would like to build my son a really nice 105sx from the 04-11 generation and test it back to back with the new gen 85.

Seems just about everything is better on the 2018 and up to me. Also, 2020 got brake upgrades. Probably not to easy to find an 04-11 that isn't already beat to heck.

I found a great deal on one of these bikes I just need to buy it, hopefully the thing is gonna be a nice bike, we’re gonna test it back to back and see ….
