Anyone have a mounting solution? I can't go between the brake and throttle due to that little built in spacer. I also can't go inside if the brake because I can't clear the reservoir. Need help, mud race tomorrow!

You can see it in the photo. It's part of the throttle assembly and creates that gap between the throttle and brake.

I'm thinking I'll just chop it off with a hacksaw. Not really sure what it's for anyways.

Ah ok, didn't see that. Yeah I'd cut it off. Probably to properly set the brake lever distance on the bar.

I'll 3rd that.....I always run hand guards and cut a bunch of those off. They're pretty easy to remove, you can even nip them off with a good set of side cutters. I usually cut it to length so they still act as a spacer when flush against my HG mount , but I always run the cycra stealth dx guards. Hope that helps.

That makes sense. Seems like a rider preference so I couldn't figure out the point of it.

Chopped it off with a hacksaw and got the HGs mounted. Thanks. Took me a minute with a razor blade to realize it wasn't plastic lol
