I am about to recover a KX500 seat. Was wondering if the foam should be glued down to the pan or if the cover is sufficient to hold the foam in place. If it should be glued what is a good glue choice? Thanks for any info.

Yea you should use a general sticky adhesive spray. I used Elmers 3m adhesive spray that I bought from local hard ware store. Sprayed it on the seat pan and the foam glued right the pan. Then I mounted the seat cover up.

Thanks for the tips guys. The seat cover went on well and came out good. Had the bike to the track already. Everything held great.
