Peacock price increase

Back in the stone age I would pay that for a single magazine just to see the write ups of that months racing around the world. 

To sit at home and watch live etc I think that's reasonable compared to monthly print.

Cant you pay for the year at a discounted rate? Pretty sure thats what i did, havent seen any charges come in since. Just do that. You already watch races 9 months out of the year.

OK, So it went up 10 bucks a year. I piss away way more than that in a day.

 $0.99 a month is the deal you gotta keep an eye out for.

Yeah, every service is upping their price and there's nothing we can do about it, it's follow the leader... Thankfully Peacock is still the cheapest one I pay for. I pay more for other services that I use less. Shit I probably shouldn't even post this so they don't get other ideas. Welcome to capitalism baby! 

Still cheaper than cable though so I can't complain too much.

I watch Supercross, Motocross, Indycar and IMSA and a few shows and movies a month on Peacock so that is still a bargain to me.

I'd happily pay that in a heartbeat if they accepted Canadian credit cards. I'm expected to pay 160$ USD (210$ CAD) for only SMX, where you get everything on Peacock.

If you have American Express and pay it with your card its free. Still at $5.99, that's not bad.

Peacock content is mostly garbage.  I don't watch any other sports other than SX/MX.   I signed up last Oct for the $19.99 a year promo.  Once that ends, I'll go month to month for racing only.     If I was on month to month for this outdoors season, I'd drop and just watch YT highlights because the season is beyond boring.

Between SX, MX & the Tour De Suffering .. I feel I'm getting my $$'s worth from the platform  @ 72 bucks a year.

Grandstand seats @ the Red Bud bowl turn / MXON were 1800.00 last fall ..  

my internet is giving me 2 years of peacock for free which is nice.

No, welcome to a federal government that sent checks to hundreds of millions of people and won’t turn off the money printing machines. When the money is devalued, you have to start collecting more of it. 

Cable and internet services have, for decades, started you off low then slowly increase the costs.

Does anyone really expect the streaming services to be any different  ??

We have the premium. Works great for less than a wendys meal a month. All I ask is spoiler alerts and fix the ff/rw scale. I think the picture quality is good and I can hear the bikes. Maybe 4 k someday🙏

In saying that, it’s sad that Peacock is reporting losses with those numbers forcing the need of the $1 per month increase.

Actually not boring at all. We are watching greatness from Jett and Chase is catching up. 250’s have had good racing.

Sitting in my office this morning I had the Tour de France on in the background, now I have on The Open, and soon I'll switch over to Washougal. My jock daughter is watching the World Cup pool play and the other binges The Office, Parks and Rec, etc. My wife watches Dateline and the other true crime crap. I'm still not on board with streaming over cable but we get by far the most use out of Peacock. Even if those shows/events aren't your cup of tea, garbage?

How do you watch in Canada? I have peacock, works great in Washington state,  but I’m I. Canada this week and peacock will not work.

Peacock is blocked from playing in Canada. You'll need to use a VPN. 

The price increase sucks. But then again everything in the world has continually become expensive the last few years due to inflation and while inflation is starting to increase at a lesser rate, it is in fact still increasing unfortunately. 
 

So Peacock like any other business has to charge more to account for it.

Anyone else having issues with SMXTV? I can hear them but there isn't any video.

I get not being stoked about price increases, but I gleefully paid for the Gold Pass when it came out and it's substantially more than Peacock is, and IMO you get more now with being able to rewind the live broadcast

Too bad they cant add WSBK and MotoGP, hell MXGP too. That would cover 99.9% of my tv time

I'll pay it gladly with no complaints. And I only use it to watch MX/SX.
