Was a good interview. Chase didnt hold back.
…can Technical Touch make a KYB shock that looks exactly like a WP? 😝
If they can, they’ll have to be more clever than with what they did with his TT insert fork during Supercross.
Kind of sucks for KTM factory guys, they are not allowed to pick the suspension brand that suits them….
Haha, wow, that was a very honest relaxed interview.
Always is, why doesnt lewis have a wireless mic for himself?
The Shop
Considering people here always talk about riders these days acting like robots and having no personality anymore, I think Chase shows exactly that riders can be the opposite while keeping it real, being humble, honest, informative and not having to act like a dick to show personality. Just my 2 cents.
That was refreshing. Definitely not the typical interview we get these days.
Exactly!
Enzo has been doing them for quite a while now.
How people can dislike Chase is beyond me
Who does though? Question his perceived “flaws” maybe, but dislike? I don’t see any of that. Dude seems like a top fella
Judging by social media comment sections and this board, a lot of people, saying he can't win if Eli and Jett are on the line.
After a heart breaking loss last year when he threw away a win in SX, how he immediately went out to walk the track/look at the section he crashed in, and was analyzing what he did wrong rather than throwing a fit and hiding said a lot to me.
Well, since 99.9999% of riders can’t win if Jett or Eli are lined up, I don’t see that as too bad of a knock. However, Chase has proven he can win against them on occasion and he seems to be continuing to improve. He even has some truly brilliant rides. That’s impressive. That he was willing to openly discuss the difference in SX and outdoors and what they are doing to make him comfortable was commendable.
Being honest has two sides to it...one you are the man for voicing your opinions, the other is you are perceived as a cry baby. Chad Reed has seen both sides of this with fans (possibly multiple times LOL). I think Chase is perceived both ways as well.
That's so unfair, but that's so true.
People think you are brave, they salute you for being open and well-spoken... but you also easily get viewed as a complainer...
(and yes, I've learned in the hard way in my career which is not moto, obviously)
Seems like it’s more of a Jett being back issue than a ktm bike issue. Jett is in chases head no doubt about it. So when Jett walks away from him it’s the bikes fault and not the rider.
Also chase said outdoors bike was fine they didn’t make a lot of changes. No jett to race also. Now Jett is back and he can’t go to the front easily like he did in Mx it’s all the bikes fault.
I have one, Kya internals.
Interview made me a fan. I guess he’s the best hope for Yamaha now once Tomac decides he’s done for good. (And the yz450 is probably Sexton best hope too)
Pit Row
"You are like a girl.....You are like a girl" 😂
The matter of fact way he said it.
#4 replaces #3 at Star 2026
Yep and the minute Jett loses what does he do?? Blames bike set up, but yeah Chase is the only one with that excuse 🤦♂️
Why was this video taken down?
Roger ?
KTM complaints? Weird watched a bit earlier, went to finish and its scrubbed
Is it taken down? oh yeah... it's not in my youtube history any longer... wow! but to be fair, it was REALLY relaxed and very far from any political corporate restrictions, right girl ?
KTM’s insecurity knows no bounds
KTM doesn't like honesty... They better scrub gypsy's conspiracy theory video about Roger stealing riders during MX Des Nations trips.
Wow ktm really that bad of a look? Bet the bosses didnt like being blown out by him saying when i do bad they just think i suck.
Interesting
Weird that it’s gone, glad to have watched it yesterday. I tend to watch a lot of the post race interviews and Chase is always as honest as can be. It’s nice to have someone not respond like a robot!
