I picked up a 83 cr 250 years ago that have a simmons fork kit in them.I am getting ready to go through it but for the life of me I cannot remember the name. Does anybody remember the name and or have set up instructions they could post?

The "Anti Cavitation Fork Kit" as mentioned in your link to MXA is most likely what he is asking about.  They had a long travel kit before that in addition to their 38mm (ish) and 60mm forks.
