Sports Pro Racing presents the Rockstar Energy Steel City Highlight
Video from Saturday's FMF Steel City National at Steel City Raceway in
Delmont, Pa. After a dominating season in which he won nine consecutive
races en route to the 450 Class title, Rockstar/Makita Suzuki's Ryan
Dungey suffered a rare case of bad luck, effectively removing him from
the battle for the overall. When opportunity arose, it was none other
than longtime veteran and substitute rider Kevin Windham who stepped
up. The Honda Red Bull Racing rider withstood a tough challenge from
GEICO Powersports Honda's Brett Metcalfe to grab his first overall
victory since the 2007 season in just his fifth round of 2010,
replacing an injured Davi Millsaps. In the 250 Class, GEICO Powersports
Honda rider Trey Canard's second half dominance continued, going 1-1 to
take his fifth win in six races and close to within single digits of
championship leader Christophe Pourcel.
