These videos are very interesting that you can’t buy with a pit pass.

I have an idea that no one has probably done yet, someone was saying how steep and big the jumps are in person…I’d love to see someone just run around the track on foot to show what it’s like to hit a face of a jump at 5mph with a camera.  

Did Jerry Bernardo ever do a track walk with a camera like that?  It would make for good TV.  Or 2 people running around the track racing each other holding a drink?

I bet Jett's glad Prado is going back to MXGP. Sexton and Prado smoked him on that start. Love these videos.

Back in the 90’s i think one of the things that made watching the racing fun was the camera work where they had a view from under the triple-jump as the riders would fly away so you could get a perspective of the height and distance or a lucky timed Nac Nac. 

Now, most of the footage is this spider cam which they have been missing some key footage you have to do a little bit of searching for like the Anderson/Jett incident or Chase/Webb that the broadcast didn’t have time to show but if you look at the ruts from the rear view they came together.

The 2nd best thing is the speedway races where they have a mule trolley-cam at least shows the side view through a rhythm section at speed but it is still kind of messy.  

Sometimes they have an on-track cam that may get conveniently taken out or run into having the rider crash into your living room.

Oh man, keep these videos coming! Two things that stood out. the first is how polar opposite Anderson and Jett were entering that corner. The other thing is how loose the pros hold onto the bars. Avoiding arm pump is all about technique, and it's a technique I absolutely do not have! The second I go for a fast lap I cling on for dear life.

it looks like Eli has the old hunched attack position but Jett with this newer straight back that Ryano is claiming has a little bit of an advantage with control and conserving energy but Eli has plenty of that.  Early 90’s Larocco vs McGrath.  Supposedly gripping with your legs frees up the arms to not hold on and smaller details like to point the toes a bit inward to avoid issues…level or down keeps the forward drive.  Eli is looking really fast but in slo-mo it looks like he’s hanging it out not many can pull off like him, anderson, and Bennick using style as opposed to straight mechanics like that slide in the turn yet cut low.  In the photo Jett looks to taking McGrath’s advice to keep a finger on the clutch and front brake.

i wonder if the riders use slo-mo or not or full speed and what they look for.  I forgot who it was I think AP worked on his technique a lot in the off-season since he dialed his bike and maybe Barcia too.  Roczen looks like a podium guy to me fast or slow.

teams like Kawi film but that’s from a distance i think.  I am not sure how others claim they get their video or just watch the jumbo screen at the stadium or by sight before their race.  Deegan’s dad seems to get a lot of up-close action from around the sidelines that looks to be good for them and us if they release it like they had footage even of his injury.
