Earlier this season Nick Wey replaced Chad Reed, and now he's back under the Monster Energy Kawasaki tents replacing Ryan Villopoto. The surgery that Villopoto has had so far is just to keep his leg stabilized until further surgery, which will happen next week here in Seattle. He'll actually require two operations. One on his tibia (which is supposed to be six or seven hours by itself), and a separate one on his fibula. The team is not expecting him back for the '10 outdoor season. We've heard rumors that Nick Wey will also get the spot throughout the summer, but that hasn't been confirmed.
