The Troy Lee Desgins team came out with Jessy Nelson and Shane McElrath to take on the USGP, the team ended up going 1-2 in front of a lot of KTM's top brass. Which definitely had to be a positive considering they will be KTM's official Factory 250F effort next season. The team will continue to field Jessy Nelson, Shane McElrath, Mitchell Oldenburg (SX only, possible Outdoors ride), while adding Orange Brigade's Alex Frye and Factory KTM rider Justin Hill.
Jessy Nelson may not be the tallest rider, but he does run his bars very far forward on his X-Trig triple clamps. This in-part due to Jessy's "Crouching Tiger" stance, helping he keep more forward on the bike.
Cooling today's bikes is a continuous challenge. The TLD team has joined most of the KTM and Husqvarna teams by adopted off-road model fan to keep pulling air through in low-speed situations.
