First the good news. The Caselli Foundation has supplied this ultrasound rig to the Asterisk Mobile Medical unit, so Doc Bodnar, and Dr. Reiman can make use of it to check for internal injuries on site. The bad news is that it sounds like there's a budget shortfall for this year, and the Asterisk Mobile Medical rig only has enough funding for the first quarter of the series. Doc Bodnar put out a call at the rider's meeting for riders to ask their sponsors for some additional help to get them through the season.
