The last lap at the "Vintage and 2 stroke World Championships" I hit the tabletop too fast and flew too far. I landed passed the tabletop, bounced off the back of the bike and had a close encounter with my rear tire. I was on my back looking up at Jimmie Weinert, (Yes, the Jimmie Weinert. He waved the checkerd flag at the finish) I kept asking him if I crossed the finish line or not. He smiled. I don't know if he answered me or not. I may not have been able to hear at that moment.
