Newly crowned World Champion, Romain Febvre, impressed in moto one by showing that heat wouldn't be a factor as he charged all moto long. After battling with Cairoli he ran down the duo of Grant and Webb, passing Grant on lap 11 before battling with Cooper Webb down to the last lap before finally taking the lead and the moto win.
