Teams have become much more cautious of their airboxes over the past couple of years. Octopi Media

If we're the betting type, we'd say that even though Haiden Deegan will be eligible for a single digit after his soon-to-be National Championship...he'll likely stick with his familiar #38. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-128
Max Anstie has stated he changed a lot since Washougal. Handlebars, suspension, engine spec, etc. It paid off at Unadilla. Octopi Media

You know what they say about red heads and motocross... Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-125
I NEED THIS HELMET. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-121
Bell has rolled out some unique helmets for their athletes but this one really pops. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-072
A version without the Monster logos is available to the public... Octopi Media

Garrett Marchbanks' Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki KX250.
PitBitsDilla-067
Garrett's back...back again. Welcome back to PC! How long until Marchbanks has a thick seat on this machine? Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-042
After not knowing if he'd even race the final rounds, to one spot off the podium at Unadilla. Impressive re-introduction to the 250 Pro Motocross class. Octopi Media

Pro Circuit always has a grooved or cupped tire here and there... Octopi Media

Ty Masterpool is one of three riders who has a new two-year deal with Pro Circuit, joining Cameron McAdoo and Seth Hammaker. Octopi Media

This scene had to make Mitch smile. Octopi Media

Ken Roczen made his one and only 450 Pro Motocross start of 2024, as his second race of the season will be on a 250 at Ironman. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-113
As we saw last year as well, Roczen chose KYB components for Pro Motoocross after running Showa in Supercross.
roczenspring.jpg?VersionId=F9Q
Unlike last year though, Kenny is on a KYB spring fork. Last year he ran a KYB PSF1 air fork in outdoors. Octopi Media

Twisted Development powerplant, flanked by WCL front engine mounts and some old factory Suzuki upper engine mounts. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-115
Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-112
A production rear linkage appears to be paired with the KYB rear shock. Speaking of which, this shock is basically a production RM-Z250 KYB unit with coatings. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-114
Kenny with the scoop tire. Also, note, he's running steel axle and steel hardware in his linkage. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-056.jpg?VersionId=ywiQ3fP1PDF j22eyamL
We like having Kenny at Pro Motocross. More, please? Octopi Media

Colt Nichols made his debut with the Twisted Tea HEP Suzuki team ahead of 2025. With this, he's parted ways with O'Neal and HJC to make this happen. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-110.jpg?VersionId=Pm2zUAZVIk1TcScJjtlR9ovBHBUXy9
The #2 has returned, as his machine gets a little fork air pressure check.
PitBitsDilla-107
After a summer alone, J-Coop has a teammate with another returning at Budds Creek. Octopi Media

Flush fork height for J-Coop. Octopi Media

PitBitsDilla-105
Cooper Webb looked to have re-aggravated his thumb during the second moto crash but as of now is set to still race at Budds Creek. Octopi Media

Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-106.jpg?VersionId=33hY
Who gets the ride back from the podium to the truck next? J-Coop, Webb, or Tomac? Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-103
The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team followed the lead of the MXGP team which reverted to more old-school Husky colors to celebrate the brand's heritage. In this case, Christian Craig had the gear to match. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-102
A look at the very blue radiator shrouds. We dig it. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-004.jpg?VersionId=NvQG
Malcolm Stewart also had a kit to match. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-100
Do you wish they ran this look all year? Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-099.jpg?VersionId=6Gdyu
The white frames are so good too. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-097
Cochran's bike didn't feature the molded-in module on the front fender like his teammates. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-096
Cochran runs the older large axle, while Malcolm and Craig choose the production size (smaller) axle. Octopi Media

Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-093
While Hunter Lawrence made the move to the 2025 model, the 250 team has stuck with the 2024 model to finish out Pro Motocross. Could they switch for SMX? Time will tell. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-032
Fox, HRC, and Jo are just killing it in the looks department. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-008
Sadly, Jo Shimoda picked up a broken collarbone in the second moto. He's had it plated and should return quickly. SMX would be a go but we're not sure if he would rush back for Ironman as there's nothing left to gain. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-028.jpg?VersionId=0xt9ZVdyUCQkAwRLvMWQ6j Bnv
Chance Hymas also had a rough go. While he's lining up at Budds, it's not without some burns and a good hit to the noggin. Octopi Media

More tuck... Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-091.jpg?VersionId=c
In a similar move to Grant Langston in 2007 and Ryan Villopoto in 2011, Hunter Lawrence chose to debut a new bike after the Loretta Lynn's break in the schedule. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-090
After riding the final production 2025 CRF450R at the intro following RedBud, Hunter wanted to get a race trim version on track asap. For the team, it wasn't a huge departure as their engine, electronics, triple clamps, wheels, fuel tank, and other hard parts bolted right up. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-088.jpg?VersionId=.vZNDsTieL
The biggest need was getting the new shock body that worked with this frame, adjusting suspension settings, working with a new linkage, and updating the ECU to work with the new airbox design. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-089.jpg?VersionId=RF 2nFr.hi8spZkbngN2msjYRxBp
PitBitsDilla-087.jpg?VersionId=xMkGsh9dPBD8U8YbjjJbR6AufuxN
The frame wins are still in use on the new bike. Also, HRC equipped their works radiators and oil cooler system to Lawrence's bike for Unadilla. Probably in preparation for the race to be a total mudder. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-086.jpg?VersionId=ByYzDXhVFh6Drl0
With Hunter making the switch, we believe that's the end of the old-gen platform being raced. As by the time Jett returns for SMX, he would also likely make the move to the new bike. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-038.jpg?VersionId=nR
Hunter Lawrence displays his full trust in his new machine. Octopi Media

A Red Bull lid is like the holy grail of motocross to some. Octopi Media

The #12 of Shane McElrath arrived at Unadilla on a new color and new team. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-085.jpg?VersionId=FW.06UGUKuy4H
Hmmm, KYB PSF1 air forks on a KX450. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-011.jpg?VersionId=i5
With just a week or so on the bike, McElrath's results improved over his average HEP result. If he can crack a top ten in the final two rounds, it'll match his best HEP ride of the year. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-014
The Madd Parts Kawasaki team looks to be McElrath's home for 2025. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-013.jpg?VersionId=Zy
Dylan Ferrandis and his Phoenix Honda just missed out on the podium at Unadilla, by far his best ride of the season. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-010
Ferrandis and Phoenix Honda isn't a done deal for 2025, but it's imminent. Octopi Media

PitBitsDilla-007
Triumph and Jalek Swoll have worked hard for this, congrats! Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-018.jpg?VersionId=r9qn3jWbc1P285 uahj .hT.L45u
Can we all agree we want more of this battle across the last four motos? Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-002
While the 250 title will wrap at Budds, the 450 looks to carry to Ironman but is firmly in Sexton's grasp. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-003
Great sportsmanship between ex-teammates. Octopi Media
PitBitsDilla-001
See you all at Budds Creek. Octopi Media
