Honestly I think more times than not they are more rideable than stock efi on most bikes. Most efi bikes are super jerky off idle because of poor tps and poor mapping and it makes them tough to ride in corners. Every where else efi is near flawless but that off idle tuning is more often than not really jerky on most newer bikes.

Got to ride it today. Wow. The clamps made a huge difference. The front end grip is so much improved. The suspension work I had done was a bit softer than I would have liked. Went in on every clicker and it got much better. Engine is really freaking good. I think a huge draw to the Surron’s is no maintenance, sound, or gas/oil. I’d guess 90-95% of the kids riding them probably don’t have any interest in a legitimate dirt bike or any kind of off-roading. Having a legitimate dirt bike means changing oil, increased operating cost (maintenance, fuel etc), and having to travel to a legitimate track to ride.
