His organization awarded a regional qualifier to a promoter with an inadequate facility they’ve obviously never visited. This was confirmed when Tim Cotter went on Facebook Live and filled us in on the situation taking place at Archview in Missouri (the track is in Illinois). A regional is a much larger event than the area qualifiers they’ve hosted in the past.

I'll say it again.. Divisions/qualifiers at Regionals is the most asinine thing ever. There is only so much daylight in a day. Regionals should be just like the LL National - exact number of riders (full gates) and motos on an exact schedule. The only reason they are allowing this nonsense is to fully milk as many dollars as they can.

I never intended to make this a build thread, but after thinking about all the awsome builds I have enjoyed reading about on here I decided to do it. Maybe it will help inspire someone else. I have been toying with putting a Yamaha Blaster engine in a modern frame to create a low maint, light and fun play bike for years. Was leaning towards a 125 from the early 2000s to work with or possibly a 250f. I then came across a yz125, a kx125 and an xr250 with blaster swaps on the net and decided to do it...

With the rear lower mount, I assume when the engine is positioned to attain the correct height of the CS to the SA pivot ( an Important Thing that I Know I go on Ad-Nauseum about , but, it's a Conversion Stuff Up So Many do ) a Bolt would be pretty much in line with the cradle tubes? Now, perhaps you can put in mounts welded to the cross brace ( that the linkage goes to), and, put a 'port' on one cradle rail to feed the bolt through. Not hard, and, done well, strong. Finally it’s been a cold yr. Sat,sun race in Xmas, Mi. In the UP . It was a high of 54& 51, I put a Fat main jet in . But I never made it riding during the week on a sand track 120 mi away . And my back nerves, hip pain was too tight & dead leg , foot is all numb. Lower Mi. Is usually hotter than Green Bay . Sat it shows hot yet here next sat. I might hv to get a personal loan to race AM day. Lol I Love riding in the heat...

It’s not just amateur motocross, it’s most youth sports that are screwed up. Travel baseball, basketball, gymnastics.. Parents going all in on their kids sport. The average kid is better off focusing on competing on the local level instead of state/national stage.
