Try not to share your amped up music with everyone within 300 yards of your pits. You may love techno dance music but the guy next to you may prefer classic rock. Keep it down to a reasonable level. Nobody cares that you spent more on your stereo system than you did on your bike.

The plastic & tank were a slightly different shade of white too! Nothing I could do but run it! I ended up working out a trade with another Vitard & regret letting the 04 go to this day…SO found an 05 & did it all again! 🤪 Your 2005 with the 500...

Finally it’s been a cold yr. Sat,sun race in Xmas, Mi. In the UP . It was a high of 54& 51, I put a Fat main jet in . But I never made it riding during the week on a sand track 120 mi away . And my back nerves, hip pain was too tight & dead leg , foot is all numb. Lower Mi. Is usually hotter than Green Bay . Sat it shows hot yet here next sat. I might hv to get a personal loan to race AM day. Lol I Love riding in the heat...

I don't know or care if it adds or takes away from prestige... But privateers in pickups, local pros trying to make the 40, and a full gate of bikes roaring into turn 1 is quintessentially motocross, and I wouldn't ever trade that for more "prestige."

I had the privilege of seeing JMB at Millville in 1991. The thing that never seemed to make any sense is how he could just finesse the 500 2-stroke. He never really seemed like a big strong guy. And everyone knows those 500’s were no joke. Goes to show that technique was everything. He found lines that nobody else did. My theory is - it would’ve been much easier for JMB to adapt to a 450 4-stroke than the current top 5 in the 450 class to adapt to a 500.

The track layout is way different from 2015 to 2026, so comparing just the lap times doesn't really work.

2016 Ken didn’t have 2 brutal arm/wrist injuries requiring double digit surgeries either.

I would argue that Ken is just as fast or faster in a long term perspective. While his peak speed doesn't seem to me to be as fast, I think he is far more consistent and a better championship contender. Ken has completed 6 full SX seasons in the premier class. He likely would have secured another title if he had less injuries 2014: 3 2016: 2 2019: 4 2020: 3 2021: 2 2026: 1
