Here’s a few tips I haven’t seen others mention yet. Drink water, lots of it. And do it all week before your race. Buy a USWE hydro pack if you want a good quality product. Try out all the different series around you and see which one you enjoy the most. You’ll be surprised how different each one is. Don’t...

Test the stator after you ride for 15-20 minutes it might be overheating and then shutting down.

This sounds like a failing stator. Not producing enough voltage to charge the battery.

Here’s the measurements I found. Bike off - 13.06 volts Bike running, fan off, 5,000 RPM - 13.42 volts - doesn’t fluctuate much whether at idle or with RPM Bike running, fan on, 5,000 RPM - 13.35 volts Just for comparison, these were the measurements with my 24 KTM 350 XC-F Bike off - 13.2 volts Bike running, fan off...

I actually put the fan on from day 1 so that’s the only way it’s been ran. Sounds like I should unplug it and see what happens. I could also try to turn the temperature up to 200 so it runs less. It’s set at 185 now. But like others have said maybe it does need a better stator capable...

It's probably the fan. The 350's stator doesn't put out much juice and the KTM fan has the biggest draw of all the fans. I put a stator on my xcf with the ktm brand fan and it's worked flawlessly. If you want to test this. Put in your new battery and unplug the fan. See how long it lasts.

Looking for a bit of advice before taking a bike into the shop. 2023 Husqvarna FX 350. 45 Hours total. Unfortunately this bike has killed 3 batteries so far. One OEM, two Anti Gravity. The only modification done is an oem KTM / Trail Tech radiator fan. I just bought a new Firepower battery and I want to figure out...

I did make sure that the surface between the adjuster nut and swingarm was clean and dry. That is a really good thing to mention though! It is the brake rotor side that keeps coming loose. I run 68-70 mm on chain slack.

What’s up Vital. I have a 2024 Husqvarna FX350 with one pesky chain adjuster bolt. After one or two rides it becomes loose and no longer rests against the axle blocks. I’ve had many Austrian bikes and never ran into this, so I figured I’d try to learn from someone whose had a similar experience. Here’s my tightening procedure when...

Here's a stock image just for reference. Personally I'd run some of these clamps on the fuel line connections just for extra security.

Here is where the build stands for now. I threw on a new set of Renthal sprockets with a DID ERT3 chain. I went from a 52 tooth rear to a 50 to make the gearing longer. I also added Dunlop MX34 tires, heavy duty tubes, and a new Moose shifter. I previously had a Moose shifter and I wore...

While I was in the motor, I installed a new set of reed petals for routine maintenance. The replacement gasket was very similar in shape but not a perfect fit, so it took some modification with a box cutter. I took the carburetor apart to verify all of the jetting specs and found that the throttle slide had started to...

Over the winter I decided it was time for a freshen up on the YZ125. The motor is up to 40 hours, so it was time for another top end. I've used this bike as a way to improve my skills mechanically, so I decided now was the time to keep improving those skills and do the top end myself...
