I’ve been around long enough to have been able to watch a few speedway races at GH. I’ve also raced the REM track, a bunch of SRAGP races, OTHG nationals and…. I’ve been lucky enough to work the Holeshot club for all the nationals and the GP. It’s a very cool place to have watched evolve and ride! Can’t wait to get back out there soon!!! Have some pretty cool old shirts and pit passes/crew passes and a lifetime of cool memories!

Here's some history: Originally opened in the 70's as Arroyo Cycle Park in the same location as the Vet/REM/Arroyo track is at now. I believe it only ran for a few years. Then at some point, Bud gets the lease in the 80's and opens a sand drag strip which was located where it says "Glen Helen Raceway" on brocster's map above. I just reached out to Honda Racing management and Lawrence management; both responded, stating the rumors are BS, no further crashes or injuries have taken place, and he will be racing this weekend.

So DB goes onto say that he is "covering himself" just in case Jett is not racing, then states because he "heard some things over the weekend", without saying what said things were. Annoying.

Ask Race Tech! Their support is super helpful. I had a similar issue and if I remember correctly they told me I could substitute a slightly thicker shim and also offered to send more shims. The suspension was a huge improvement over stock!

Pretty cool! For the record, those are "Finisher Pins". Generally, you had to make the finish to get one. Do 80 miles of desert on a '77 YZ400 and you won't call it a participation trophy.

AC222 is also coming to race some MX races this summer. That is not the same as the Coenen brothers coming, but cool to see the legend here again.

I always sping my throttle housing on a new bike a full 360 forwards on the bars, gives me double the horse power at no extra cost 😉

The only thing I can think of is cable tension was different with the throttle housing rotated 🤷

I went to the garage tonight and it looks like you guys are right.

This has been bugging me so I went out and tested. I will admit I was wrong. I still don't understand why it bothered me so much when I went riding (first ride on this bike) but I made adjustments and thought it made it better so maybe it was just mind games at that point. I have also been on bikes forever and never had an issues so it’s just my ignorance to blame. Maybe it’s just the way this bike is made and I’m not a fan of it. Further riding will tell. I sure hope you guys are just trying to troll us and don't actually believe that the position your throttle housing is bolted to the bars has any effect on your hand position or the "start and stop points" of your throttle rotation.... 😅 The ribs or pattern of the grip are completely irrelevant and a totally different subject. They are not constrained or dictated by the position you mount your throttle housing. Hold on.. gotta go check my blinker fluid in my car....
