6/8/2026 10:35am I stick to racing stateside, but have friends down there and watch pretty closely. Per Fishgistics, not a TT/bike collision as some were reporting earlier but an individual event that TT came upon with the rider already down. Not sure if crash, heat stroke, or other cardiac event. Helo couldn't get that close to land, other racers on site did best to provide aid but he sadly passed on. My most sincere condolences go out to the family, team, and all the individuals on site that did their absolute best to provide support to a fellow racer and human.

6/8/2026 10:33am Based largley on Lewis' recommendation (and m trave schedul ) I attended the Latvian GP this past weekend. What a tremendous event. The circuit was wonderful for spectating. The food at the track was the best I've ever had at a moto event and reasonably priced. The people were knowledgeable and very welcoming. The track itself appears closest to Southwick (which I've only seen on TV). €95 got me a weekend pass with paddock access and a program. The gate for MX2 was thinking but EMX 125 and 250 were full. As a plus, I stayed in Riga. Great vibe...

6/8/2026 10:30am You'd think they'd do something to capture the younger riders. A little out of touch. Yes, all the fun bikes, but, hardly race ready... as was the 150R. Imagine a little CR85R (CR112R) for the little guys!

6/8/2026 10:30am I had a 650L for 20 years. I called it my zombie apocalypse bike. Roads weren’t necessary to get where I needed to go when I had that thing.

6/7/2026 6:49pm Glad you were able to get out, and 100% agree with your observations. The first time I saw Jett ride in person was Ironman, the first year he rode 250 outdoors. I came home and told her about this new rider who I told her would be the "new Marty Smith." Little did I realize what the future held. I second your recommendation for folks to get to a race this summer. Seeing what these newer generation riders can do on an MX bike is just mind-blowing, but especially Jett.

6/7/2026 6:47pm I would kill for a 125 development class for the youngsters like EMX125 in europe. Ages 13-18, run it on the weekends that the WMX isn't racing. Give these kids actual exposure to proper racing on proper tracks with bikes that are little bit more forgiving and sound f**cking cool for viewers

6/7/2026 6:44pm IMO this is the best thing for him. I know most of the antics are all a character but dude puts in the work, has insane talent & at face value is doing extremely well. Losing by that much time will either make or break someone, in which I believe with him it will only motivate him more. Didn't he struggle at first in the 250's? No fanboi but I absolutely love watching someone talk so much shit then go back it up. Yeah he's not beating Jett or Hunter yet but he's damn closer than anyone else even Prado...

6/7/2026 6:43pm Healthy is part of it. If Jett gets hurt practicing or racing and Deegan wins that’s the way it goes. If Deegan is more resilient year over year then he deserves credit for practicing and racing within those limits.

6/7/2026 6:41pm It looked like he was hammering into the braking bumps while the brothers float over them better and flow faster into the mid corner. Watching how hard and deep his suspension was working in those bumps, its no wonder he pumped or and/or fatigued late in the race. I told the wife as it happened that I thought the heavier bike was beating him up and making him tired those last 10 minutes. To be the third fastest guy in 450's already is impressive and I think he'll get faster. Of course the brothers could too.

6/7/2026 6:39pm I believe Danger Boy has a very high ceiling. Both nationals so far you can clearly see there’s work to be done. I think his fitness needs to come up to handle a 450 2 full motos. He faded in the first moto and I don’t think he fully recovered for the 2nd. I also think the bike set up is off some still but it was better than Pala. Will he ever be able to run with Jett , remains be seen , but 2 races in and counting him out is too early. Jett and Hunter and the...
