I twisted the absolute shit out of the throttle yesterday evening on my 150SX.Buddy bought a 2017 TC125 and i took it for a test ride. I had so much fun that took my 250SX straight back in the garage and grabbed the 150 to turn some laps. I was feeling really dialed in yesterday for some reason. That thing will rail some shit when you leave it pinned!! No more 4 strokes in my lifetime. Selling my YZ250F and going back to 2T's was the way for me.

6/3/2026 9:37pm Agreed. 👍 I could even get along with that grey Gun Kote finish Kawasaki put on the pipes for years. And there's just something about the green/blue that just works, like the RMs. Those yellow Zukes just look soooooo good with those blue accents. The blue makes the green and yellow pop - much, much nicer than black.

Got me there, I’d run a bare PC pipe and either a shorty or a SA silencer, depending on where I’m at. But damn, that’s a good looking scooter..

Hype? 2 Strokes are WAY more fun to ride and own than the complicated overweight valve-munching tractors. 99.99% of riders own a dirt bike to have FUN. Are you really gonna change the world with a local-yocal plastic trophy for the garage wall, or do you wanna meet your homies at the track and have a blast on the weekend? You get way more smiles per lap on a smoker than any 4stroke ever made. Carmichael, Fro, McGrath, Bubba, TP199 they will all tell you nothing beats wringing out a two-smoke.

6/3/2026 8:03am Got a YZ250. I just hope the market doesn't lose it as an option for a carbed bike if they decide to go the TBI route if/when they do an update/model replacement.

Oh man you just me laugh talking about that 400. A friend of mine rode a yz426 for years. Honestly it was a great machine that was enjoyable to ride, but sometimes in a bad situation like you described, going through the 72 steps to kickstart it didn’t make you very happy 😂
