What’s that little plastic adapter on the top of Bonacorsi’s helmet for?

The Alpinestars helmets offer better facial coverage than the Airoh as shown with all the extra masking on Liam’s mouth guard.  Just like a shroud I wouldn’t expect him to block all the air intake to his mouth area where it might affect his breathing and/or fog up his goggles easier.  Maybe not for people who go as fast as him though with plenty of fresh air intake.

With those hour meters - I'm wondering how many hours does race bike make through a MXGP season AND how many hours those boys are putting on their practice bikes. Would be a cool article. Just sayin.

I was just commenting on the fairing shroud of the new 2025 CRF and now see them going with a grating idea.  In the olden days some riders would catch their knee guards/boots on the more open versions so they picked up on that and I wondered about the potential for heat/cooling/obstruction.

Is that a new Airoh clamp-on visor cover and/or what is it made of for the mud as opposed to what they usually have rigged up in the past like an extended taped-down visor to shield the roost?

The Oakley goggles are showing good coverage in the helmets with fun retro strap options.

The motion shots are cool but “the roost shows the truth” (except for that downhill shot which may in fact be a slick mud landslide). 

I haven’t seen a “please pass…” yet…perhaps good old manners can make a difference more than a plea or special request.

GP Monster girls are hotter and look happier for the riders.

If we get an Italian Stallion I bet he’d be fighting for podiums on his steed.

It’s not Acerbis but they are running some kind of modified frame grip rubber with style marked studs that should hold up and grip better than the 200 grit sandpaper some of our guys are running.  That Hinson clutch cover looks more heavy duty too.

Herlings can sand blast and mud his buddies who dare to challenge.

Sacha scratch the 9 and the the 7 looks like a #1.

The grip tape on the frames is made using  Vibram , Vibram makes shoe soles . Athena has been offering it for a few years now.  Its more of a rubber , like the sole of a shoe. And outlasts any other grip tape I've seen tried. And also doesn't destroy riding gear like some of the sandpaper style tapes can.

They do sell sheets of the same texture that is sold pre cut by Athena , that is intended for use on the bottoms of dress shoes to give a fresh sole or ad tracking.  This is a screenshot from Athena's website. The logo on the Honda tape looks different. But  they have other textures
