Digger .... that's an awesome/sexy/ hot/bitching/factory looking bike... congrats!. Bty... I Just got my 2013 KTM 250sx last week. I would put the pics but no one wants to see a stock looking bike. I m riding her for the fist time this Sunday... because today is Daytona. Yeah baby, yeah! (Austin Powers voice please)

Post away Victor! We got like 20" of snow here yesterday & I'm pretty bummed about that but I am having a bunch of racers over tonight to watch the SX so that should be fun. Here are some more pics of my bike.

I just had Hellion Designs add some flo-orange to my Fox V4 machina helmet & it came out great & just how I had hoped it would. Nice job Lee :-)

Do it & DON'T lose a moments sleep over it. They are great bikes & they are holding their value quite nicely cuz KTM sends so few of them to the USA. With just a few mods & tweaks you'll be riding probably the best 2 stroke ever made.

Wishing I had another 250SX.. (Had a 2011)

The biggest gripe I had was the lack of legs.. It REALLY needs a 6th gear..

Has anyone put 6th in a new 250SX?

I noticed yesterday that the MSRP on a 250SX is $2K less than a 450.. INSANE

Got a 2012 300XC now, in place of the SX. It's awesome, just not as light and playful as the 2fiddy..

Digger, sorry but I cant stop staring at your bike. Not only is hot but It is very unique. Congrats!, About my pics, i lost the cable that connects my cell to the comp, so once i get one I will post my new baby's pics... event though she is 100% stock for the moment. I tested the bike last Sunday using your jetting advise. It runs awesome. Now, I was running 172 on the main and I was a hair lean. I'm going to try 175 this Sunday. i think is going to be perfect. One more thing... how much oil do you put in your tranny??? my manual says 0.8L but I don't trust the manual very much. Online advises differ from 700cc to even 900cc. I took the old oil out and it came out close to 0.7L / 700cc. So I am not sure the amount to put on it. If anyone knows amount of oil capacity on a 2013 250sx, please help. thanks

@Victor, Why wouldn't you "trust" your owners manuel and go by what someone says on the internet, sounds a little weird.

I joined club KTM 250sx in December. Digger helped me with some set up. The snow and frost is soo slow to leave. I love your bikes' look and am anxious as you to see how yours and mine work on a track.

You know, you are 100% right, however, when I got the old oil out and it came shy from 700cc it started making me doubt a little bit. So I went online thinking that it was going to be easy and quick to check that it is 800cc but it was harder than I thought. For example, a lot of prior years Ktm models get only 700cc ... and I just couldn't find the answer from KTM or some reliable source for the 2013 model. Well, here I am asking on the internet. Hey Kevin, it seems that we have the same bike... how much oil are you putting on your tranny? 800cc? Digger seems to be missing in actio and I m going riding on Sunday. thanks

Hey Kevin how much shorter is the shorty than the original muffler? been thinking about a new muffler.

And on the oil its normal to get out less than the quoted capacity but my '12 manual also said to put in 800ml. Just put in 700 and then use the check screw to make sure there is enough oil in there

My bike is at the Wide Open Expo in Springfield Ma this weekend. My Sunoco fuel guy asked if he could bring it & put it in the Sunoco Race Fuel booth along with the living legend & my very good friend John Dowd's bike. I've been texting JD since yesterday when they picked my bike up & his was already in the trailer about how much better looking mine was than his :-)

He'll be there for 3 hrs today signing autographs & I'll tell him you said that :-)) I just heard that the KTM booth is directly across from the Sunoco booth & they have the entire 13 line up with them & my Sunoco rep just texted me & said that the KTM guys have been all over my bike since he rolled it. Nice.... :-)

Do you have Factory Connection suspension on that? I'm debating on FC or MX Tech for doing the suspension on my 250 SX. Any opinions on how yours works?

When you did the CF dip on your silencer did you use a Silver CF or Black CF pattern?

No I didn't go with Factory Connection on the KTM. I bought the springs & bladder kit from them. They've done most all of my other bikes & I was happy with them. I went with the black CF pattern cuz I think it looks the most like real carbon fiber.

I was busting on him all day too cuz he told the guys who picked his bike up that he spent all night working on it so that it would look better than mine & they told him sorry JD but have you seen his bike yet?. I was telling everyone how I used to beat him & about the old glory days when I raced with him in expert class in New England. Ahh the good ole days :-)

I wanted to do another project this winter and decided to put a 380 sx motor in a new 250 sx chassi.
Started with getting a 380 sx from 2002 and when I looked at that poor thing standing there in the garage, I felt bad for it so I restored it to oem look.
Its almost like new now.

Maybe next winter with a 2014 250 sx Smile
